Survivor interviews

Share your story

Sunday Scars is becoming a place where survivors tell their own stories: what happened, what it cost, what helped, and where they are now. Not for exposure or revenge. For healing, clarity and hope, so the next person knows they are not alone.

How it works

  1. You share a little of your story below. It is private and goes only to Servant Zero.
  2. We read every one and pray over it. If it is a fit for an interview, we email you to set up a short call.
  3. If we both want to go ahead, you receive a written interview agreement by email to read and sign before anything is recorded.
  4. We record the interview by video or audio call, with your name, voice and camera exactly as you chose.
  5. We edit carefully to protect you, the people involved and the church at large. Not every interview is published, and that says nothing about the worth of your story.

You choose how you appear: public or anonymous, with your name or without it, your real voice, a disguised voice, or no voice at all. Read the full interview guidelines before you apply.

Which best describes what happened? Church hurt is pain from imperfect people. Spiritual abuse is authority used to control, exploit or silence. Not sure?
